Hi, I’m Cliff Paulick. I help businesses self-reflect to set goals, then build systems and processes to achieve.
Some businesses need help with the big things, and some get stuck thinking about the little things. Regardless, they feel big to the one wrestling with thoughts in the moment.
To help me help more people, I’ve launched CliffCred. It’s my new branding for business leadership.
About the Name
I wanted a personal brand because I have a variety of interests and I expect to be around for a long while. I’m in my late 30s and there’s a lot of life left to live. This year may focus mostly on tips for growing businesses; I imagine it’ll evolve over the next decades.
So “Cliff” for personal brand, and “Cred” for credibility. Simple but flexible, which is what I was going for. Our lives are not just business, and each business is unique because of the people leading it, so it makes sense to me to work on developing individuals that happen to be business owners.
Additionally, I’m big into tech, finance, and living this life with purpose.
Bonus: I like alliteration and care about memorableness (try saying that out loud), easy spelling, light name competition, and other branding basics.
Why “Credibility”?
Although I have a breadth of knowledge and interests, I’m often told by clients that they chose me for my honesty, ability to see the big picture, and relatability.
Doing some light research about the word “credibility”, I found this video that put into words so many pieces of the puzzle for me and solidified my name choice:
Oxford defines credibility as, “the quality of being trusted and believed in,” but it feels incomplete. Granted, it’s half a sentence vs a 9 minute video.
