Spy on the Google Ads your Competitors are Running

I’ve been testing this Google Ads PPC monitoring tool for a couple weeks and it’s such a great asset!

It lets you keep tabs on competitors, either for a campaign you’re currently running or for a campaign you are considering running.

All you have to do is sign up for the affordable PPC Reveal service, enter your target keywords to track, and wait a couple days or a couple weeks, whichever you choose.

Here, the owner explains how it’s better than SEMRush and alternative services:

As with any newer software, there’s definitely room for improvement. For example, we’ll have to wait a while until the ability to duplicate a “Reveal” (their term for a job to run), but it is a priority on their enhancement list.

I’ve tested the software and believe it’s accurate based on my personal experience replicating its results, but it can only be as thorough and accurate as the Reveal’s instructions. If you set it up to only monitor 3 keywords or only run every 12 hours because of trying to conserve credits, you can’t expect it to be comprehensive in its findings.

Best Way to Leverage PPC Reveal

Since PPC Reveal is a credit-based system, I recommend going all-in with your credits for a short time–such as Every Hour for 3 days or every 2 hours for 2 weeks–so you don’t miss ads running at specific times of the day or night.

If you’re using it to come up with ad ideas or test if you want to enter a new market, you’ll want to get results pretty quickly anyway.

If you’re wanting to use it for long-term monitoring, it’s best not to blow all your credits on a single Reveal. You might want to schedule your Reveal to check fairly regularly (so it’s closer to being comprehensive) and just repeat this every month or every quarter.

There’s no human replacement for a service like this. Feel free to contact their support. They’re very responsive and aim to please.

btw, PPCAdLab is an established competitor from a great company. Their service is very comparable, tracking real-world PPC ads, not just making algorithmic guesses like SEMRush. So PPCAdLab is a great alternative to consider, and they offer a free plan to try it out.
