You cannot use 1.1.1.1 because that address is reserved for Cloudflare’s WARP product. I just always use 1.2.3.4
Cloudflare now has a dedicated “Redirect Rules” menu item (of which you get 10) so don’t use “Page Rules” for this (because you only get 3) – but the setup is different and Page Rules still work if you choose to follow this video exactly.
About Cloudflare
Cloudflare is perhaps the most trusted Internet traffic service provider (CDN, security, etc.) and allows so much within their generous FREE tier. Everything accomplished in this video is within Cloudflare’s free plan.
Cloudflare’s interface may feel a bit more techie than you’re used to compared to Google Domains or GoDaddy, but take your time and follow along; it’s really not hard to do this basic setup if you don’t rush it. All-in, a pro is probably looking at 20-60 minutes, including wait time and domain transfer time, and a novice might need a bit more time if they’re not sure how to implement what they want outside the scope of this video.
Note that Page Rules can only apply to DNS records with the orange cloud! For example, if you want to redirect xyz.YourDomain.com but the xyz subdomain is something like a CNAME without the orange cloud, Page Rules will not apply to it.
Cloudflare allows you to receive email via your domain. You can forward it to your @gmail or @outlook type of email addresses for free. Optionally, you can enable catch-all functionality and set forwarding or “drop” rules, such as [email protected] getting dropped so they are never delivered to you.

How-To
Cloudflare allows you to redirect your domain, subdomains, and/or paths via Page Rules with wildcard matching. For example, you could redirect YourDomain.com to Facebook.com/YourPage
Note that Page Rules can only apply to DNS records with the orange cloud! For example, if you want to redirect xyz.YourDomain.com but the xyz subdomain is something like a CNAME without the orange cloud, Page Rules will not apply to it.

Optionally, you can enable catch-all functionality and set forwarding or “drop” rules, such as [email protected] getting dropped so they are never delivered to you.
Cloudflare does not natively allow you to send email via your domain, but you can setup a Cloudflare Worker integration with MailChannels to accomplish this.
