How to Use Font Awesome in Adobe Photoshop

1. Download the .zip from GitHub and extract it to your Downloads folder.
2. Follow the instructions at https://fontawesome.com/get-started/desktop to get it installed to your computer.
   1. Make sure the Photoshop app is fully closed before installing. If you don’t, you will need to close it after installing Font Awesome before it will appear in Photoshop.
   2. On Mac, you install it to the Font Book app:
      
3. Open Adobe Photoshop; then, open or create a document you want to edit.
   1. Open the Type Tool, in preparation for copying and pasting text.
4. Find the icon you want to use:
   1. Visit https://fontawesome.com/icons
      1. Search for your icon, and click “Copy Glyph”.
   2. or visit Font Awesome’s Cheatsheet (copy and paste) page in your favorite web browser.
      1. Find, select, and copy the icon you want to use.
5. Paste the selected icon into Photoshop.
6. Just like customizing any other font character(s), feel free to change the text color, blending options, and resize as desired.

With Font Awesome accessible to your design programs on your local computer, you can now create custom images, include fonts on your business card designs, make website mockups, and more.
